Gold exploration success Breaker Resources has again promoted the bona fides of its Bombora find east of Kalgoorlie, suggesting ongoing infill drilling is highlighting the \u201coutstanding mining potential\u201d of the discovery.<\/p>\n
The company\u2019s executive chairman Tom Sanders said the \u201cgood continuity (of mineralisation) \u2026 translates to good potential mineability\u201d.<\/p>\n
He further added the \u201cstacked nature of the gold lodes being and the presence of at least three gold-mineralised orientations is likely to be very positive for the overall gold endowment\u201d.<\/p>\n
Bombora is a circa-2km long discovery inside a circa-6km long gold system, located about 100km east of Kalgoorlie.<\/p>\n
The prospect was discovered in 2015, with Breaker targeting a maiden resource by the end of 2017.<\/p>\n
Preliminary metallurgy, environmental and water assessments were to being in the current quarter.<\/p>\n
The explorer started 2017 with $A10.7 million cash.<\/p>\n
Breaker shares were up 7% to 53c in early trade, capitalising the company at $67 million.<\/p>\n
