The Market Herald<\/strong><\/h1>\nBreaker Resources (BRB) has continued to extend near-surface mineralisation at the Bombora deposit within the Lake Roe Gold Project in Western Australia.<\/p>\n
The company received the latest batch of results which come from 13 diamond holes, eight reverse circulation (RC) holes targeting southern extensions to the Bombora deposit, and 20 RC holes targeting anomalous gold to the east and south of the deposit.<\/p>\n
Diamond drilling returned multiple high-grade intercepts with the stand-out being 8.3 metres at 16.8 grams of gold per tonne (g\/t) from 310 metres.<\/p>\n
Positively for the company, all eight RC holes encountered significant mineralisation. The best results include three metres at 4.28 grams of gold per tonne (g\/t) from 144 metres including one metre at 10.94g\/t gold and three metres at 6.82g\/t gold from 153 metres including two metres at 9.8g\/t gold.<\/p>\n
Step-out RC drilling extended the Bombora deposit a further 250 metres south which takes its total strike length to 3.7 kilometres long.<\/p>\n
Managing Director Tom Sanders commented on the results.<\/p>\n
“The game has changed for us, not only does Bombora have the metrics to become a large open pit mine, we are now seeing the grade and continuity to allow a transition into underground mining,” he said.<\/p>\n
Breaker Resources is continuing drilling with two diamond rigs and one RC rig in operation. Assays are pending for six holes at Bombora and 30 holes from other prospects.<\/p>\n
A separate 2000-metre drilling program is also underway at the Manna lithium discovery to follow up on spodumene mineralisation.<\/p>\n
