Breaker gets set for resource drilling - MiningNews.net
Breaker Resources NL is a large tenement holder in the Eastern Goldfields Superterrane which accounts for 75% of Australia's gold. The Company has a 100% interest in four projects in the emerging Yamarna and Burtville Terranes.
Breaker’s objective is early discovery in an unexplored part of Australia’s premier gold province and since listing in April 2012, the Company has identified large new highly prospective +10-20km gold-in-soil anomalies in a number of areas. The priority targets are the Duketon North, Dexter and Lake Roe Projects. Aircore drilling was undertaken in July 2015 at Lake Roe and identified a new gold system. Subsequent drilling programs have identified intercepts of gold mineralisation including 26m at 2.55g/t, 12m at 4.41g/t, 9m at 5.70g/t, 3m at 12.15g/t, 4m from 10.08g/t and 1m at 25g/t, indicating the potential for high grade sulphide lodes. RC and diamond drilling is continuing throughout August and September 2016 with the objective of confirming a continuous 2.2km zone of mineralisation.
